Spotlight On Alderson Today   the   “A-Team”   spotlight   is   on   Joshua   Phillips.   Josh   came   to   us   certified   as   a   Class   2   Water Treatment   Operator.   In   order   to   have   as   many   cross   trained   staff   as   possible,   he   went   to   the   Waste   Water Treatment plant and worked up from Operator in Training to a Class 1 Waste Water Operator. Josh   has   been   a   great   help   combating   inflow   and   infiltrate   with   the   rest   of   the   Waste   Water   Team. As   you can   see   in   the   pictures,   he’s   not   afraid   to   get   dirty.   He   also   is   pretty   stout   and   he   will   get   into   the   big   jobs that requires muscle. He’s lost about fifty pounds while he’s been with us. Being   dual   certified   now   makes   him   even   more   of   an   asset   than   before. All   of   the   Waste   Water   operators are   still   in   the   learning   mode   with   their   new   plant   upgrades.   They   all   are   unseen   key   people   that   without, we would all be in a mess. We   are   proud   to   be   able   to   afford   to   have   a   staff   of   three   credentialed   operators   in   Waste   Water.   They have   truly   made   a   huge   difference   in   our   operations   ,   especially   in   reducing   inflow   and   infiltrate   of   non- waste   water   in   our   system.   They   will   tell   you   it   is   a   never   ending   process,   but   there   is   proof   of   their accomplishments in our major reduction of daily flow and during rainfalls. Thank   you   Josh   for   making   us   “Alderson   Proud!”   Thank   you   Amy,   Declan,   Greenlee,   and   Kendyll   for understanding dad’s job and being great support for him as he does his part in the “Gem of the Hills.” Travis
