We’ve been working 12 hours non stop to fix a major inflow of non-sewage that amounts to over 1.5 million gallons a month of flow to our sewer plant. We found it today while tracing storm drain water. THIS IS A BIG DEAL and a major priority to fix sewer and storm sewer problems. If you doubt the dedication of your city team, we are at Calhoun Street and will be a while. This will take a few days to fix but we’ve spent all day busting concrete to get to the root of the problem. THIS WAS NOT A FLOOD ISSUE. No Fema funds are being used to fix it. This is town money and all town staff. But thanks to Wiseman’s foreman Scott for helping me find this this morning. Our thoughts and prayers are with our brothers and sisters fighting fire in Lewisburg this evening. We couldn’t leave the hole open or stop operations here, but know we would have been there and are for sure praying for everyone’s safety. Travis
