There is a saying that “behind every good man is a better woman.” Well my saying is no one on our team does any one job, no one. Six years ago Corianna Spinks got thrown into a position that scared her to death. More responsibility than she had ever had (besides being a mommy) in life. She has grown in her position to be the backbone of our team and a right hand to me. The person to whom I trust to sit in the back of the room and nod yes or no, get the information for me to make decisions and give her input without fear of making me mad because she doesn’t agree. During the flood, her leadership and management qualities rose to the top. Her help in managing the continued efforts of repair and mitigation continues today. Although she tells me “I won’t answer my phone for the next disaster” I know without hesitation she will. She has filled in for me on the bench in our municipal court system for the last year. I have no worries about her decisions or direction. My team, myself, and our town are blessed that she is part of Alderson. Thank you Corianna for all you do to help make “Alderson Proud!” Travis
