ALDERSON FIREWORKS POSTPONED The   Winter   Solstice   Celebration   including   fireworks   planned   for   Alderson   tonight   from   6-8   p.m.   has   been postponed   due   to   the   bad   weather.   The   current   plan   is   to   have   the   celebration   and   fireworks   on   New Year’s Eve with details to be announced later. However,   the   light   shows   in   Alderson   will   still   be   available   tonight.   Bring   your   guests   for   a   walk   around Santaland   and   enjoy   the   moving   lights   and   music   of   the   Santaland   Express   Train.   Enjoy   a   drive   under   the dancing   lights   of   the Alderson   Memorial   Bridge   (since   there   will   be   no   fire   pits   on   the   bridge)   hosted   by   the Alderson Youth Football League from 6-8 p.m. Additional   opportunities   for   a   “drive   under   the   lights”   include   Saturday   from   6-8   hosted   by   the   Alderson Volunteer   Fire   Department   and   on   Sunday   from   6-8   hosted   by   the   National   Guard.   Enjoy   the   drive   and donate what you can to these wonderful non-profit organizations.
