Mayor   Copenhaver   was   injured   in   an   accident   at   his   home   on   Thursday,   September   28,   when   he   fell   off   a ladder.   He   was   taken   to   CAMC   where   he   underwent   surgery   this   morning   for   breaks   in   his   wrist.   He   is   out of surgery now and beginning his recovery. We will keep you advised of his progress. Update 10-2-2017: Mayor   Copenhaver   is   expecting   to   be   released   today   from   CAMC   to   return   to   his   home   in   Alderson.   He reports   his   left   hand   is   in   a   half   cast   and   he   is   very   sore   and   bruised   all   over.   He   will   have   physical   therapy for   his   injuries.   He   appreciates   the   thoughts   and   prayers   from   everyone   and   is   looking   forward   to   getting back to some sort of normal.
