MAIN STREET THANKS DONORS Alderson   Main   Street   thanks   all   those   who   donated   or   “bought”   a   flower   basket   for   the   lamp   posts   in   Alderson.     The   bright   red   begonias   from   Blue   Ridge   Farm   in   Williamsburg,   WV   are   a   cheery   note   next   to   the American   flags and lion banners.  Even through the recent tragedy of the flooding, the flower baskets continued to shine.  Jim   Russell,   President   of Alderson   Main   Street,   said,   “We   really   appreciate   all   those   who   donated   to   this   project and   many   who   do   so   every   year.      We   also   appreciate   Judy   Lewallen   and   Doris   Kasley   who   faithfully   water   the baskets.” Those   who   donated   were   Fred   Giggenbach,   Roy   and   Linda   Loudermilk,   Vivian   Pranulis,   David   and   Margaret Hambrick,   Tod   Hanger,   Sam   and   Doris   Kasley,   Tom   and   Linda   Dameron,   the   Alderson   Women’s   Club,   the Alderson Bridge Club, Jim and Melinda Russell, Becky and Steve Keadle, Doris Griffith, and Jo Perez. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Also: The   July   meeting   of   Alderson   Main   Street   which   should   have   been   held   on   July   21   has   been   cancelled.      The Town of Alderson has moved Council meeting to that date.
