This   is   such   a   great   idea,   and   I’m   sure   other   towns   have   repurposed   their   old   High   School   buildings.   Even Alderson is in the process of changing the High School over to be the new Elementary School. When   I   first   read   about   White   Sulphur   Springs   converting   their   HS   building   into   to   a   hotel,   my   first   reaction was,   “they   have   the   Greenbrier   Hotel,   why   another   hotel?”   I   know   The   Greenbrier,   at   times,   is   full   up   at times. The Schoolhouse Hotel will certainly take care of that. About   a   year   ago   I   presented   an   idea   to   have   a   new   hotel   in Alderson.   My   idea   was   to   build   one   similar   to the   old   Alderson   Hotel   that   sat   across   from   the   train   Depot.   With   it’s   vintage   styling   and   decor   and   it   could have an attraction to those who can’t get into the Greenbrier.
