Christopher Allen Tincher, 51 of Alderson went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 22, 2023 at the Peyton Hospice House surrounded by his family. Christopher was born September 8, 1971 in Union and was a son of the late Sanford Eugene and Rebecca Sue Burns Tincher. Chris graduated from Greenbrier East High School, an EMT for Fairlea, White Sulphur Springs, and Union Rescue Squads. Chris was of the Baptist faith, and a member of the Alderson Fire Department and White Sulphur Springs EMS. Chris leaves behind a son Bentley Allen Tincher of Alderson, a daughter, Madeline Tincher of Indwood, WV, one sister Valerie Parker and husband Chester of Alderson, four brothers, David Burns and wife Donna of Morgantown, Anthony Scott Tincher of Alderson, Edgar Tincher and wife Geneva of Alderson, and Billy Tincher of Alderson. Chris is also preceded in death by grandparents Jesse and Nellie Tincher, and Edgar and Mary Burns, and a niece Bethany Parker. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. on Monday February 27, 2023 at the River of Life Church of God in Alderson with Pastor Anthony Carter and Bobby Reed officiating. Visitation will be held at the Church on Monday from 11am until 1:00 pm.
