Robert Forrest. Pierce, 78, of Culloden passed away Friday, May 1, 2015 at his residence. Born November 22, 1936 at Charleston, WV to the late Archie Erwin. and Hazel Gay Sowards Pierce. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Onva Lee Wenger Pierce; sister, Jane Hancock; brothers, Andrew and Edward Pierce. Robert was a 1955 graduate of Alderson High School, Alderson, West Virginia. He was retired from York International as a master mechanic and also served in the US Air Force during the Korean War. Surviving are his children, Leana P. Hoover (David) of Milton, Robert F. Pierce, Jr. (Gail) of Lyons, GA, Christopher L. Pierce of Charleston and Mark E. Pierce of Culloden; sisters, Barbara Jean McConnell and Nancy Cummings both of Florida. Also surviving are his grandchildren, Leslie, Michael, Katelyn, Preston, Hayden, Avery, Natasha and great grandchildren, Dawson, Abby, Alyssa, Caleb and Alexis.
