MORGAN BUNN TO SIGN NEW BOOK

author
and
cemetery
preservationist
Morgan
Bunn
will
sign
copies
of
her
newest
book
"The
People
of
the
Old
Stone
Cemetery:
The
Obituaries"
at
the
Greenbrier
Historical
Society/North
House
Museum
in
Lewisburg.
It
is
a
350
plus
page
book
containing
the
obituaries
of
over
1,000
people
buried
within
the
cemetery.
The
collection
contains
everything
from
short
obituary
notices
to
long
history-filled
accounts
of
the
life
and
death
of
many
early
pioneers
of
Lewisburg
and
the
Greenbrier Valley.
Bunn
is
well
known
for
her
two
previous
books
about
the
Old
Stone
Cemetery
as
well
as
her
work
to
restore and preserve the grave stones there.
The
obituaries
provide
snapshots
of
the
lives
and
history
of
the
Lewisburg
area
residents
and
contain
fascinating stories of life and death with a glimpse into the burial practices of the area.
For
last
