1928 - Alderson High School - 1968  The  Bridgewalk  Shops Part 6 of "The New Alderson" Series Causby Parker - April 24, 2015 (Click on photos for larger view) In the former Johnson & Gwinn Hardware store, now owned by Luther & Judy Lewallen, is Lewallen’s beautiful antique  store. The building is sectioned off into various rooms of vintage furniture, glassware, quilts, paintings, photography, old  toys, etc. It would take a week to really "See" everything in this store. An interesting sculpture on the sidewalk, she laughingly calls  her man, purchased in Ohio. Paintings by Charles "Chuck" Rudisill originally from Alderson, now lives in Pittsburgh, Pa.  Unbelievably detailed art. Antique radio and old stage coach made beautiful period pieces.
