100th Bridge Anniversary Photo Tour Causby Parker - 9-20-14 As it has been advertised for several weeks on the Aldersonian and Alderson Main Street, the 100th  Anniversary of the Memorial Bridge took place on the 20th of September 2014. Causby Parker was up  early with her camera to capture all phases of the celebration. The tour starts at the Visitor’s Center where we have our first item of years past, an antique car. It is  fitting for the Visitor’s Center, since it served for many years as a gas station. On this day it’s the Food  Market. The tour moves on to the bridge where for many years, thousands of cars crossed the Greenbrier River.  Shown: Some prime examples.  East of the Depot old fire trucks and farm machinery are displayed.  On to the Depot for many examples of every day items you would use on encounter in the years gone by.  More Photos Comments (Click on photos for larger view)
