New Hardware Store In Alderson June 18, 2019

There   will   be   a   new   business   in Alderson   come   July   1.      Rexroad   Supply   Co.,   operated   by   Clint   Lunceford, will   begin   serving   customers   that   day.      A   hardware   and   supply   business,   in   the   location   of   the   previous TrueValue   store   on   the   Monroe   County   side   of   Alderson   at   the   end   of   the   new   bridge,   they   will   have “quality   materials   at   the   best   prices”.      Affiliated   with   “Do   It   Best”,   they   will   fill   a   significant   gap   in   local services. Mayor Travis   Copenhaver   said,   “We   are   so   glad   to   have   a   hardware   store.      Now   we   will   not   have   to   go   15 miles   for   nails   or   other   small   items   while   in   the   middle   of   a   repair   project.      We   appreciate   Clint   and   his family opening this business.”  There   will   be   a   formal   ribbon   cutting   at   11:00   a.m.   on   July   1,   2019   and   a   cookout   from   11-4.      Door   prizes and   a   shopping   spree   give-away   will   occur   throughout   the   week.   Regular   hours   will   be   Monday-Friday 7:30-5 and Saturdays 8-2.
