Hello   all,   We   had   a   fabulous   Strawberry   Festival!   Thanks   to   Mystik   Miller   and   the   Strawberry   Festival Committee. Great work! There are a few photos on Facebook . From   what   we   heard,   all   the   businesses   in   town   got   a   bump   in   sales!   They   can   thank   Main   Street   and Mystik    and    the    Strawberry    Committee    for    those    extra    sales.   They    can    show    their    appreciation    by becoming   members   of   Alderson   Main   Street   if   they   are   not   already.   Membership   form   attached   in   case you can encourage them to join. Now   might   be   a   good   time   to   focus   on   paying   for   the   flower   baskets   that   have   just   arrived   on   the   lamp posts.    They    look    great!    They    cost    $50    each    from    the    greenhouse    and    we    are    grateful    to    Ross Copenhaver   for   watering   and   feeding   them   throughout   the   summer.   Each   year,   civic   minded   souls   from Alderson   and   beyond   have   sponsored   the   baskets   by   donating   the   cost   of   one   (or   more!)   to   Main   Street. We   have   5   paid   for   already   but   that   leaves   10   available   for   sponsorship.   Please   make   your   check   to Alderson   Main   Street   and   mail   it   to   P.O.   Box   117, Alderson,   WV   24910.   We   will   publish   a   list   of   sponsors on face book and thank you very much.
