ALUMNI PARK

Alumni Park Years   ago   on   land   that   once   had   a   few   houses   and   businesses   now   stands   Alumni   Park.   This   park   was   built   and dedicated to the alumni of Alderson High School. Another community improving project of Alderson Main Street. This   little   park   on   the   bank   of   the   Greenbrier   River   has   already   become   one   of   Alderson's   landmarks.   It   is   a   beautiful addition   to   the   Monroe   side   of   the   river.   The   white   picket   fence   separates   the   park   from   the   railroad   tracks   for   safety     purposes   and   enhances   the   beauty   of   the   park.   With   the   Tom   Housby   gazebo,   beautiful   landscaping,   and   dedication bricks covering the walkway, a perfect place to rest for a while and enjoy the view.
