There will be a Talent Contest in Alderson Friday, July 3.
The talent contest will take place during intermission of the
Buddy Allen and the Cheat River Band. Concert is from 7-11.
There are 2 categories: Adult (16 & Up) and Youth (16 and under)
Adult Prizes: 1st - $100, 2nd - $50, 3rd - $25
Youth Prizes: 1st - $50 and 2nd - $25
If you want to participate you MUST audition! We just want to make
sure the music is clean, etc. Music must be karaoke, meaning NO
words. You may play instruments, sing, tell jokes, whatever. There
is really no room to dance however.
*You must audition. Auditions will be this Sunday in Alderson.
Please call for your audition time and we will give you the
location. Auditions will be after 2pm.
**We are looking forward to this years contest. If you know me,
you know how much the Alderson 4th of July means to me. If you
