I want to publically thank God I was born in America. This is by far the greatest nation ever created in the history of the world. Let me give you the very exact specific reason this is a fabulous, wonderful nation. A land, if I may overuse a phrase, of opportunity and promise. This is a land where the poorest person can go as far as his or her vision can carry them. This is a land of upward and downward mobility. People are free to fail or succeed, it all depends on them. It ideally, is a land where you can go from the bottom to the top or the top to the bottom, depending on you. Should we move away from this ideal, that diminishes our magnificent nation? Only where you permit individual upward and downward mobility do you have a great nation. Where a country stops the individual it insures its own slow decline and eventual demise, God bless America, land of free people, land of opportunity, land of exceptionally.
