Marilyn “Sue” Murray, 75, of Proctorville, OH passed away Monday, July 5, 2021 at Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, Huntington, WV.

She was born December 9, 1945 in Alderson, WV, daughter of the late Cecil and Ruth Fisher. She was a 1963 graduate of Alderson High School.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Murray, Sr.; three brothers, Jack Fisher, Earl Fisher and Robert Dale Fisher and one sister, Barbara Johns. Sue was a member of Norwood Church of Christ, Huntington, WV. She is survived by her two sons, Larry Thomas (Shannon) Murray, Jr. of Chesapeake, OH and Robert J. Murray of Proctorville, OH; one sister, Shirley Jones and three grandchildren, Cecil Murray, Emma Murray and Mina Murray. Funeral service will be 1 PM Thursday, July 8, 2021 at Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point, OH with Pastor Jeff Garrett officiating. Friends may visit 12 PM – 1 PM prior to the service at the funeral home.
