FISHER, Peggy Russell, 76, suddenly began her life of peace with God on January 5, 2011 with her loving family by her side. She is survived by her four children, Cynthia Huffman and husband, Steve, James Fisher and wife, Beth, Julie Luke and husband, Wayne, and Lucy Unmussig and husband, Donald. She was blessed with several grandchildren, Jennifer Serena and husband, Johnny, Meg Pickeral and husband, Travis, Ryan Fisher, Lindsay Glass and husband, Josh, Catie Huffman, Whitney Lenzen and husband, James, Lauren Fisher, Jaimie Ligon, Jessee Unmussig, Natalie Unmussig and Andy Unmussig. Special survivors include four precious great-grandchildren who arrived in 2010.

Peggy loved her many friends and will be remembered for her kindness to so many people. Please join us with your favorite "Made by Peggy" scarf or special hat at Southampton Baptist Church, 7521 Comanche Dr., Richmond, Va. 23225 on Saturday, January 8, at 2 p.m. to celebrate the life of the woman who never met a stranger. Visitation hours will be held on Friday, January 7, between 5 and 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Richmond Animal League.
