Sara Housby McClung,
77, of Alderson, WV passed away Saturday, June 13, 2020 at
the Greenbrier Health Care Center in Fairlea, WV, after a
long battle with Parkinson’s Disease.
Born November 14, 1942 in Hinton, WV she was a 1960 graduate
of Alderson High School and a member of the Johnson Memorial
United Methodist Church. Sara retired from the Greenbrier
Hotel at the age of 62 with 12 years of service and never
met a stranger.
She was the daughter of the late Eldridge Grayson and Gussie
Ballard Housby. She was preceded in death by her brother Tom
E. Housby and nephew Robert Steven Housby. |
Sara is survived by her son Neil H McClung and his
wife Nicole, granddaughter Kate McClung whom she loved “To The Moon And
The Stars”, sister in law Joyce Housby, nephew and nieces Joe, Tammy and
Lisa.
In keeping with Sara’s wishes she will be cremated and hoped that people
who knew her would donate to the Parkinson’s Foundation.
