Brenda Hiser Ayers, 73, passed away peacefully on
Wednesday, January 8, 2020, in Rock Hill, SC.
Born on September 20, 1946, Brenda was the daughter of Audrey Faye
Bryant Hiser and Earl Leslie Hiser.
She spent her time raising her children, working for the City of
Covington, and later retired from HSN in Roanoke, VA. After retirement,
Brenda enjoyed traveling with her family and friends, and each trip
included a visit to the local botanical gardens to indulge her greatest
passion, flower gardening.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband,
Ernest Lee Falls; her brother, Earl Leslie Hiser, Jr.; and her sister,
Emily Susan Thomas.
Surviving are her son, Ernest Lee Falls Jr; her daughter, Sandra Layne
Worley of Rock Hill; her granddaughter, Leslie Hope Worley of Vinton,
VA; her mother, Audrey Faye Bryant Hiser of Caldwell, WV; her sister,
Joan Faye Hiser Whoolery (Jim) of Sagamore Hills, OH; and dear friends,
Helen Dosier, Freda Livesay, and Allen Thomas.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, January 12, 2020, at 3:30
p.m. at the Alderson Community Center, 300 Chestnut Ave. Alderson, WV
24910. A reception and visitation will follow the services.
Greene Funeral Home in Rock Hill is in charge of arrangements.
