DONALD T. HARRAH JR., 76, of South Point, Ohio, died Tuesday, January 16, 2018. He was the husband of Marian E. Grant Harrah and son of the late Mary and Thurlow Harrah. Preceding him in death was a twin son, Ashley Mathew Harrah. He is survived by daughters, Pamela Bartrum of Ashland, Ky., and Angela McClure of South Point, Ohio; one son, Todd A. Harrah (Aimee) of South Point, Ohio; a stepdaughter, Jan Bess of Chesapeake, Ohio; ten grandchildren, Jason and Ashley Workman, Christina Webb, Samantha Barker, Stephen and Drake McClure, Makenzi, Baylie and Ava Harrah and Paige Clifton; nine great-grandchildren; four brothers-in-law and six sisters-in-law. He is survived by daughters, Pamela Bartrum of Ashland, Ky., and Angela McClure of South Point, Ohio; one son, Todd A. Harrah (Aimee) of South Point, Ohio; a stepdaughter, Jan Bess of Chesapeake, Ohio; ten grandchildren, Jason and Ashley Workman, Christina Webb, Samantha Barker, Stephen and Drake McClure, Makenzi, Baylie and Ava Harrah and Paige Clifton; nine great-grandchildren; four brothers-in-law and six sisters-in-law.

Don was a graduate of Alderson High School, Class of 1959, and attended Marshall University where he played football and majored in engineering. He worked in the engineering field and was an estimator for Bill Enyart and Sons for a number of years before retiring. He was a member of Tri-State Baptist Temple. Funeral services was at 2 p.m. Friday, January 19, 2018, at Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point, Ohio, with Pastor Tim Jenkins and Pastor Larry Mullens officiating. Burial was at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville.
