Ethel Ayers Wilson, age 93, formerly of Alderson, went to live with her heavenly father on July 3, 2016. She was a 1940 graduate (salutatorian) of Alderson High School. During the last years of her life, she was a resident of The Seasons and Greenbrier Manor.

Predeceased by her husband, Bernard F. Wilson, her parents, Homer and Nellie Ayers, her brother, Sheldon D. Ayers, Sr. (Pat), and her sister, Thelma L (Beanie) Eggleston (Denzel), she is survived by her brother, H. R. Ayers, Jr. (Laura) and several nieces and nephews. Burial will be in the Gwinn Ext. of the Old Greenbrier Baptist Church Cemetery. Wallace & Wallace Funeral Homes are in charge of burial.
