Marshall Joseph “Joe” Adams,
age 60, of Panama City, Fl., formerly of Alderson, WV passed away at
Covenant Hospice in Panama City on July 4, 2010.
Joe, as he was known to family and friends, is survived by his
daughter, Ashley B. Adams of Searcy, Arkansas, Jan Willie, mother of
his daughter and life-long friend of Russell, Arkansas,
step-daughter, Brittany Willie of Searcy, Arkansas, two sisters,
Jane Adams Godby of Fairfax, Va. and Barbara Knight Miner of Renick,
WV and Panama City, Fl., cousin, Robert Keller of Birmingham, Al.
and numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends. He was preceded in
death by his mother, Frances Yates Knight Adams and his father,
Bernard Marshall Adams.
Joe served in the United States Army in Korea and was a member of
the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 8205 of Parker, Florida and of
AmVet Post 2298 of Panama City and Callaway, Fl.
Private Memorial Services will be held at Greenbrier Memorial
Gardens, Lewisburg, WV.
