Family Feud

Did you know every presidential election in the United States is a family quarrel, so to speak? Every president since and including George Washington are related--mostly distantly related (except John Adams and John Quincy Adams, William Henry Harrison and Benjamin Harrison, George H. W. Bush and George W. Bush who are closely related). This has fueled conspiracy theories about royal bloodlines. (Freemasonry, the Illuminati, etc). For instance, 34 presidents are descendants of Charlemagne, first emperor of the Holy Roman Empire. 800-814. Franklin Roosevelt was a fifth cousin of Theodore Roosevelt. FDR and Grover Cleveland were half-cousins. FDR married Theodore's niece Eleanor. Richard Nixon and Jimmy Carter were sixth cousins. Obama and G. W. Bush are 11th cousins. Obama and Dick Cheney are eighth cousins. Interested in the others? Look 'em up. Not only are they related to each other but distantly to royalty. What is even more curious is the fact that the presidential candidate with the most royal blood in their veins always wins the election! One genealogical expert advised American voters if they want to get free from this royal bloodline domination vote for Ron Paul, Dennis Kucinich or James Ventura, none of which has any ties to royalty. But...if the Bible is true, or Louis Leakey) everyone on earth is related. What a family reunion that would make!
