Almost 200 people were in attendance for the 2015 annual Alderson Alumni Dinner on July 3, 2015.

Celebrating 75 years Class of 1940 are Rev. Gilbert Cofer from Lottsburg, Va and Ethel Ayers Wilson. ( 7 members of their class still living ) Rev. Cofer spoke that night.

Celebrating 70 years is Elizabeth Bland Williams.

Class of 1955 had 9 class members attending. Tom Keadle spoke from that class.

Out of 42 who graduated from the Class of 1965, there were 24 class members present. Class of 1965 had most of any class there. Jim Russell spoke from that class.

Longest Distance Traveled; Karen Snyder

Oldest People in Attendance: Bill Simmons @ 96 (Left). He is founding member of the Alderson Lions Club and still attends. Jean Gwinn @ 95.

Longest Married couples: Eddie & JoAnn Conner, 57 years & John & Pearl McCurdy, 65 years.

Largest Families present; The Bakers and The Feamsters. This is The Baker clan. My apologies for not getting to the Feamsters before they had disbanded.

Class of 1966, celebrating 49 years: Members present: John Baker, Ted Thomas, Becky Sweetwood-Wickline, Mary Sims-Sams, Margaret Knapp-Messer (seated), Tom Wickline, Causby Fleshman-Parker, Audrey Burns-Riddell, & last but not least, Randolph "Joe" Baker.
