New Bridge

Going west on Rt. 3 out of Alderson, the state of W.Va., at the cost of 1.289.400 million dollars, has built a new bridge.  As you probably know, the old bridge was too narrow for today's vehicles and has been a long time coming and greatly needed. Many thanks to Ward Parker for the photographs.

Approaching the curve. Note the side of hill which was dug away.

Looking across the new bridge with Keeney's Knob in background.

To the left of the new bridge is where the old bridge was.

New business establishment which sets just off of a portion of the old road.
