1928 - Alderson High School - 1968

In updating the template on many pages of The Aldersonian from the original design, there have been several changes in the past nine years, so it was due for a clean up to have all pages look the same. Speaking of the original, below is the first template. I scanned the header from a Aldersonian paper, surfed other high school papers on line and used one I could work with. Thought it might be interesting to see what it looked like back in 1999. - Barry Worrell - April, 2008

AP - Dec. 1999. Barry Worrell, 1957 graduate of Alderson High School, has revived The Aldersonian, the high school news paper.  When ask why he would do this since Alderson High School hasn't existed since 1968, Worrell replied: "The main reason is to give the alumni a focal point to continue to come together once more, for we loose touch with our class mates. I know I haven't seen a lot of my friends since 1957, and this would be a perfect way to stay in touch.  Also, it will be a good way to keep up  on what's going on in Alderson."

This month, we have a very appropriate article by Patty Mann Underwood, "Time to Give Back". Please read this timely piece. Also, Dan Duff's "On My Duff", and "Christmastime" by yours truly
