Some Pictures From The Monroe Watchman

This old photograph taken at the railroad depot in Alderson depicting the teams of H. H. and Floyd Boyd.  Arriving in Alderson with two large logs, apparently to be shipped to a distant market by rail. It would be interesting to know how many board feet of lumber the front log contains.

H.H. and Floyd Boyd are standing in front of the wagon and the other people are not identified. The year is not available either. Picture was submitted by Haskell Campbell for publication in The Monroe Watchman.
